wow thats bloody dear some might pay it though, i sure wouldn't. I get a laugh at some of the prices on ebay sometimes. like au fairlane woodgrain wheels for $500, i got mine from the wreckers with airbag in top nick for $100 and matching door trims 2 of for a $100. I have given them alot of business over the years though.

Sent him this question:

"Hi, just wondering if the price on this auction is correct, or if you typed in 1 too many zeros?

Cheers,

if you need one with ESS buttons for a T series, what would you do, other than pay the money. I might take my one out of the XR8 and store it, may be able to sell it and pay the mortgage off soon.

Had the exact same wheel in my old AU. Bought it for $300 in 2005 and sold it with the car.

They are getting expensive - but probably as they might be obsolete from Ford these days. This guy is obviously dreaming though.

T1 & T2 TE50 & TS50 had ESS controls for the auto's
T3 TS50 only got the ESS controls
T3 TE50 auto's and manuals got the plain wheel & are commonly referred to as a manual wheel.

Price reflects the fact they're obsolete, impossible to re-manafacture and rare+sought after items.

I purchased one (new) myself, about a year ago for $400 but there's only going to ever be LESS in the world!

Price is a little optimistic, but I don't doubt he'll sell one.

Looks like the seller has bought and sold quite a few T-series specific items.

Default Tickford stuff is gold now

Holy crap, Tickford and "T" series stuff has gone through the roof in the last few months, pretty much anything original with a tickford logo the owner can put whatever price they want on it, I checkedout some tickford wheel centre caps last week, their selling for $100 each, 7-8 months ago I bought a set of 4 of them new for $70, the snorkels, engine covers and other collectable bit are really starting to move in price now, so hang onto it all, you'll be able to pay off your morgage with this stuff soon......................

I know a lot of these t-series parts are being advertised for insanely high Prices on ebay. But the question you gotta ask is; how many people are actually putting up the money there asking for them. I've seen an awful lot of listings that end without being sold and are continually being relisted at the same ridiculous prices.
