You know, I hated AU's...when they came out myself, along with a lot of people who were died in the wool Ford guys, said "Oh christ, what were you thinking??". Horrible.
But disturbingly I've noticed that over the last couple of years I've seen ones like, for example, a gold coloured one in Rocky, lowered slightly, with those steel "interceptor" wheels, low profile tyres, a nice exhaust note and dark glass with NSW plates...and found myself thinking "That's a damn nice looking car"... Does it take over a decade to appreciate them or something, because I hated them with a passion when they first came out and thought it was Fords biggest mistake ever...? Given their prices now (I recall seeing a sedan sitting in a yard near our sons place in Rocky for $600) they might be a good project... |

G'day guy's, 2011G6E- maybe you're a bit older & a bit wiser lol! A lot of people thought AU's were hideous when they first come out and a lot of those same people admit now that AU's have aged well. Its whats under the skin that counts as you know - AU's are the most underated car in OZ ever, period! AU Gone Bad, good score mate! You can never have too many au's as long as you've got the room! Keep up the good work! cheers,Maka
