Hey guys,
I was trying to change my wheels over tonight. I have tickford lock nuts on my wheels and on the first lock nut, the key broke..!! I was wondering, do ford carry replacement keys and if yes, how much..? Has anyone else broke a ford lock nut key before..? Any help is appreciated.. Cheers

Yeah they are easily obtained, I bought another one for mine as a spare as they are brittle especially if been used by a air/rattle gun.
I bought mine from my local Ford dealer, about $23 IIRC. You can buy them of Ebay but they are about the same price. All you need to do is quote the number on the end, B ??. |

Great..!
Thanks mate.. Will suss it out tomorrow.. I've got the number of the key written down and I'll take it with me. Is it something someone like bayfords in Campbellfield would carry on the shelf, or will I need to get it ordered in..? Cheers

Bayford's are a pretty big group, so you might be lucky if they have one, I had to order mine in, so not sure.
But if you plan on keeping the car for a while it pay's to have a spare one of these for the price of them as they do split/break and they will break just when you need it out on the side of the road. |

They're not real flash, they crack very easily. Funnily enough both my AU's ran the exact same key so I was lucky, had a few already.

Mine broke as well years ago, went to Binks Ford and got another, about that price.
