Default Rear demister

Hi, I recently had the rear windscreen rubber seal replaced by Windscreens O'Brien but they could not re-connect the electrical contacts that glue onto scfeen.Auto electricians so far are no help.I,m told you need to use a glue which will carry an electric current. Can anyone suggest anything
Thanks Mike AU1 fairmont
