Default Idle Problem

Hey people..........i have an AU2 XR8 that has just developed a bit of a problem.......on a cold start she fires up fine but won't idle..i can even drive it but when i stop the car dies........got home had a look under the bonnet started it up,heard a click and it idled fine.any ideas ????????? cheers

Nah no misfire..drives fine,but when the revs get down to idle it just dies

Try doing a search - there must be a zillion idle probs - there is actually a thread on this on the 1st page here.

Try replacing your battery, the spring in the ISC, or top up your power steering fluid
