Default Which Rims for AUII XR8

I'm looking at upgrading to 18 inch rims and I am tossing up between BA XR 18's or BA Series 1 GTP wheels. Would like to hear what people think would be best. I am leaning towards BA GTP wheels as not to many cars have them.

Thanks

Hoich

Either T3 Ts50 wheels or the BA XR ones, not really a fan of the GT-P wheels myself.

GTP 19's look great but smaller ? no way look out of place and will always be compared to the Real thing.
XR18's seem to look the goods on AU's......

Isn't it funny how T3 pilots, and BA XR drivers change their standard wheels for some nicer aftermarket mags, and lots of AU drivers get the BA XR wheels, or T series rims (says the person who has copies of the DJR320 mags)?

Personally, Have a look around at Bob Jane, Bridgestone tyre centres, Jax, Ozzy tyres, etc - they all sell some bloody good 18s, and you can usually get a good package deal.

these 2 threads might help you make your decision. For the record Ive gone with T3 TS50 rims which will be on my ute in about 2 weeks time.

Go the BF XR8 18's. Haven't seen them on an AU yet, I reckon they'd look good.

If you want to go another way, checkout the XHP Sabres in 18", full chrome or shadow chrome. They suit the AU's but I'm biased.

They are hard to get compared to other Ford wheels.

The ones on ebay is from the same seller who has sold the set now 3 times because of non paying bidders. Ask Austin how hard its been to get a set.

The biggest problem Ive had is that whenever a set came up I didnt have the money for them. That, and I have to get Pursuit 250 ones because the TS ones wont fit. Same rims but different offset, so if I got the sedan ones, the rear rims wouldnt fit the front of my ute, and I want to be able to rotate them.

Set Ive finally bought is brand new. I like the TS rims a lot more than Azzuros etc simply because you dont see them all that often. Where I am, I will have the only set.
