V8 Supercars 3
 

Well after waiting 5 hours for the 555mb demo to download ,I must say I need a better graphics card because i was disapointed with the in game graphics, the game has better features with black flags and tyre warming and wear ,I only got an hour to play last night and on hard setting could not even finish a race,on easy i kept getting black flagged due to there slow speeds into corners.
Have you played and what did you think.?

ITS AWESOME, it does need a pretty good graphics card to run, but so far the game looks pretty good

Yes but I forgot to say you can't drive a Ford ,Whats with that ,you can only drive a Holden ,or am i just going mad

better not be the case, i like v8 supercars 2 on XBOX. its good but the first was crap... 3rd better be better!!!

do wat my brother and i did with the original "V8 Challange"......jump into 2 HRT cars and race them at each other down conrod straight @ 295kph :dr_Evil:

Good old V8 Challange i loved that game .
SFR ROB Im with you ,but prefer the PC versions in driving games ,Ive got an Xbox and PS2 but haven't found a good FF Wheel yet .

The physics are terrible, doesn't even feel like you're driving a car. Unless something changes big time I'll be sticking with rFactor, GTL and GTR.

i love the it, i am an V82 on Xbox Live addict, i CANT wait for the new one.

You can do alot more in terms of adjusting your car, but you can alter gearing on this one by the looks on a V8, which you couldnt do b4

someone say Rfactor ,had it 2 days and Ive been blown away by it It is a must have ,PSC ,V8 mod soon ,should have an Aff legue

OMG IS IT OUT NOW, wants, remember seein a review of it not long ago, the graphics didnt look the best :(

i want a game wit aus cars like e-series, x-series stuf like that, even euro cars like escorts n stuff

wish there was a game, wit EVERY! SINGLE! car ever made in it ;) that would own :D

So far the best V8 supercar game I've played is the V8 Challenge mod for F1 Challenge '99-02.

You can also create your own cars, and get the latest skins. (Big bonus especially when you want to race the current cars). There's a whole forum here: RSC V8 Forum. This is made by the same people who are making the RFactor V8 Supercar mod.

What's the game i need to make it all work ,is it F1 Challange of any year between 99-02 or what
do i just download the 171 meg file then the 1.1 patch and i have a v8 supercar game

there is a actual game called f1 challenge 99-02 where you can pick wich season you wish to race.

I'm willing to bet this game will be crap, purely because Codemasters are the laziest publisher I've ever played a game from. I've said this in the apst and got flammed for it and probably will now but as car as I'm concerned Avesco or whoever should give the game to EA or even Take2 games.

I've seen a few screen shots and they look pretty impressive! So I eagerly await it to be released... :Reverend:

yeh i 100% agree, ea did a way better job with v8 challenge, it was a much more enjoyable game toplay, i wish they would bring out a sequel to that

You need to get the game called "F1 Challenge '99-02". The V8 supercars are just a modification of the game. (the physics are really good, much better than codemasters).

Once you get the game, (should still be available in stores), you can apply the 171mb mod to it, then the 1.1 patch.

One of the things I like most about this game is the fact that you can make your own skins quite easily if you have photoshop. It also has a telemetry program so you can check out how your car setup is working. (tyre temps, brake temps, etc).

There probably will be. I predict it will be called Gran Turismo 9, released on Playstation 5 in October 2012. Reserve your copy from now. :naughty:
