I agree. Being 'nice' and 'honest' with people while stating your point, makes people more inclined to do business with you, and doesn't detract from who you are.
You have to be comfortable with who you are, and if you are dishonest to yourself with the way you represent yourself to others, it will show and play on your emotions.
Be true to 'you' always and don't change your way of doing things to meet others needs or idea's of 'you'.
