Well i new it was coming with my almost daily need to adjust the clutch cable and the water on the floor.
This afternoon it was almost impossible to select a gear but i did make it to the workshop. This is going to hurt the back pocket. |

Hey Adam and all,
Im new here but from what i have read im starting to see i have some similar issues to others, one of which being a pool of water on the floor of my AUIII XR8 ute which was also the same pool of water in my late AUII xls one tonner. Everyone seems to points a cracked firewall, i dont have any issues with my clutch or pedals apart from a sticky accelorator, was just wondering on how you got it fixed and what it set you back. I might be able to use the same guy as im in Vic aswell. Cheers |

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11220972 fixed my water problems.. anything suspect at all, just throw a tonne of silicon glue on it and make sure its got a good hold on the metal/paint... ..au adam, who did your work and how much were you charged? my pedal feels pretty ****, ive changed the clutch cable already.. i cant see any firewall issues, but the pedal is bent a bit.. im thinking maybe i need a new clutch.

Did you have a HD clutch in when your firewall cracked?
