Default Power steering rack problems

Hey guys

I posted before about a previous problem, alternator got bunged by leaking power steering oil.

Now I knew there was something up with the rack so I took it to my mechanic and asked him to have a look at whats wrong, he said it was a washer and he fixed that up, leaking stopped for a few weeks

But now its leaking all over again and its a high volume leak too.

Now I'm not happy with my mechanic, so I have two humble queries

I'm going to go looking around for mechanics, I know this is a bit of a vague question but how much should I be looking at for servicing the rack?

I don't want to get overcharged

Second query, if anyone knows any good ford mechanics in Sydney around the Ryde area, I would appreciate that too

thanks in advance

Mun
