So I've been on the net all morning trying to answer my own question... finally given up and decided to start a new thread. I'm looking into getting some new shocks for the old au (series 2 non irs) and lowering it.
I am thinking of going SL height kings (or maybe SSL rears SL fronts, undecided yet) and finding it really hard to find a decent short shock to suit? I would love to go Konis and already have a price on them from one place but the second place I went to said because they aren't a short shock they would be stuffed in no time at SL height. I'm sure when I've been reading on here people have gone super low and had the Konis though? The only short shock option they gave me was the monroes :/ So, if the Konis aren't suitable (I'd really like to hear if people on here have had them work out fine with the lowered springs) who makes a half decent short shock that will work? Not including monroes that is... billys are a bit out of my price range... Sorry for starting another thread on a topic that's already got a load of threads going... Cheers |
