Gents . . .
I've recently noticed that the cam tensioner adjuster is leaking oil in my AUII 6 (non VCT), so have decided to fix it at home. I have a couple of questions: 1/ Which is the best brand of drive belt, and where 2/ Which are the best idler pullies to buy, I've seen them at around $23 in Super Cheap, but am suspicious of their quality. 3/ Simply removing and replacing the cam tensioner, to seal it from oil leaks, will that have any unintended affect on the actual tension applied to the cam? Thanks Last edited by 4ford; 12-08-2013 at 12:42 PM. Reason: Overlooked mentioning the engine size! |
