That's how I remember it from being taught at school.

My Daughter is a boatie and struggled with port and starboard until I told her port and left have four letters, she's got it now "Oh Dad, that's so easy, thanks".

It would be nice if writers could differentiate 'lose' and 'loose'.

WHY IS IT that it seems so damn common that even when there is a father figure, the kids arent taught basic skills for their motoring life, especially how to deal with a flat tyre?
