I have a 1992, Ford Corsair Ghia. Purchased it prior to getting my P's, as I had a Ford Telstar, which didnt have power steering, and after breaking my wrist (and not having the strength) found it hard to Drive.
The Corsair, Had 1 lady owner, prior to me, and had been well maintained. It sits around 140,000 original KMS. 2.4L motor, 5spd Manual, has the power windows, Power steering, air conditioning, excellent interior (not really any marks), No cracks in the dash, everything is original as far as I can see. The exterior has a few dents here and there, but the paintwork is still shiny as new, and the dents aren't all that bad. Theres a rear spoiler (bootlid), and belonging to an old lady previously, has been well looked after. I bought her 1 week before getting my P's, and now I have started travelling a LOT more, (as I travel to Tamworth every weekend -112km either way), and being so tall, I wanted something more roomy to travel freely with my friends, plus I seen the AU and just had to have it. I am just curious what would be the best option to sell it, and a recomended price, as I didnt want to trade her for a song

If you don't in no hurry to sell give carsales.com a shot at least that way you can name your price and accept offers if you see fit. I probably wouldn't reccomend ebay though. Hope that helps.

Redbook Value (to be used as a guide only): $1300 to $2900
Search trading post and carsales - see what others are advertising them at and price yours to be competitive. Go carsales is an advertising bargain if you ask me. Used to be $10 but think it has gone up since then.

Carsales is $20 for the life of the sale.
You can't go wrong! For a buyer, the search is very powerful. |

Countrycars.com.au covers your area and is probably locally advertised. I think it's $33 "run until you sell" with 3 photos.

I also recommend CarSales.com.au as I recently sold my AUIII ute in 2 weeks after previously attempting to sell it using the Trading Post (and paying through the roof) as well as my local paper, the Manly Daily. I paid $10 for 5 photos about 3 months ago...but there are premium packages too. |
