G’day All,
Has anyone installed these splits into an AU? They’re 72mm deep according to their website specs. This would mean about a 20mm thick baffle to mount them on otherwise the magnet would interfere with the window guide. I doubt whether 20mm would fit between the door trim grille and the inner door skin. I’m aware Focal make a slim version that’s 62 mm deep but you’re sacrificing less Hz range and lower wattage RMS at a greater price. Cheers, Rob |

i have intsalled them in an au before and all i did was tear the spongy bit behind the speaker off, just enough to fit the speaker then i just put 10mm nuts as spacers. and no dramas a year on.
