i have a Au111 ute and lately it has been hard to start when it is cold
it turns over easy but sounds like it isnt getting any fuel, when it does fire it shudders a bit then runs ok. anyone got any ideas? i thought it might be the O2 sensor. |

not likely to be an oxy sensor as they don't aren't working at cold start. Fuel pump could be on the way out (pressure may be too low - does it seem to lack power an acceleration?). check/clean throttle body and IAC valve, there are many possibilities...

Shuddering is a fuel/spark issue. I would start with stockau's suggestion, and then work back to fuel pump.

do you give it a bit of a boot when starting it? or do you just crank it and not touch the accellerator?
