The curbs and driveways in my town are unforgiving and very very big. i'd like to be able to reverse down them without losing the front bar. and i am getting the T series bar for Series 1 very soon

Rims look great mate. But I really think something needs to be done about the ride height. Even an inch lower would improve the look no end, and shouldn't cost too much in terms of practicality,

The wheels look fantastic - between them and the grille it shows what can be done with the AU Forte, and what Ford should have done in the first place. |

cheers blokes. no spoiler, i feel the forte will look alot more solid without it, and with the T series bodykit should look hell sweet.

You have excellent taste in rims ;)
You COULD put King Lows in it without any dramas, I've got them in mine at the moment (going to Superlows soon), and haven't had any issues with scraping etc. Looks good though! |

I've got no idea about WA, haha, maybe stick to standard springs then! Some of the rougher roads around Brisbane are a bit harsher than they used to be.

I think i might get some new suspension in the new year, just to inmprove the steering. maybe lower an inch or two but no more. What the average cost for some springs (nothing super duper) for a falcon?

Time to colour-code now.
You can deck it ... just use bags ... problem solved

lol, love that license plate Mechan1k!!
Yeah color coding in the new year, will do the side strips and mirrors. $200 odd for a set aye, Done, January. i'ma spend the next two weekends sorting out some additions to my stereo now, DVD and monitors for the back passengers. mainly so i can listen to my Live DVDs in car. Am just waiting for them monitors to arrive and then giddeup. also found myself a Dynamat Boot Kit am picking up today, finally hopefully no more boot rattle!! edit: anyone be able so get me a body kit on the cheap, for series one. Adam was going to do me a deal on freight but i don't think he ciould swing that now!! i just hate having to spend $700 on a front bar when you east siders get it for $400 odd

Standard, im in perth aswell and i got my ts50 kit (Front bar, rear bar, side skirts, and dog legs, and rear wing) for $1250 shipped from the eastern states of ebay from a bloke called peterphilliphaines. it wasnt the best quality, so if you go this way make sure you invest the time into preping it YOURSELF. $1250ish for the kit - plus $700ish to paint and fit it (once you prepped)
mine turned out pretty frgin good. http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=71231 James |
