I need help - have found a pair of Rola roof racks for sale in Cranbourne for sale but is pick up only. Is anyone in or near Cranbourne able to help me out by picking them up and posting them to Brisbane for me? I'm happy to toss in a few bucks for your troubles!

Mate, get in touch with either Greyhound bus freight or McCaffertys bus lines and see if they will give you a quote to freight the roof racks to Brisbane. If acceptable to you, then get the nearest pick-up location to Cranbourne and then contact the seller and see if he would be prepared to just wrap some packing tape around each end of the racks etc and tape on your name and address, then drop them off for you.
Normally a decent seller will do this for you if it's no too much bother. Anyway you've got nothing to lose and it's another avenue for you to explore, if you can't get anyone else to pick them up for you. Best of luck. |

Thanks for that info, chippitydip - the seller was pretty strict about pick-up but for the price it was worth any hassle I might have afterwards. A good suggestion I'll keep in reserve if I run into trouble. I would be better if I could find someone in that area to at least pick the racks up for me and I'd work it from there. Will see how I go, thanks again.

Dude
We will help you out if you are not in a hurry, its a half hour drive away and when any of us are in the area for work would be happy to pick them up and then put them on a courrier for you, at your cost naturally, maybe about $15 bucks via road over three days, let me know

Mate, so long as I can pick it up within about a week (or maybe two at the outside) that would be fantastic! Not sure whether that's qualifies as a hurry or not but please let me know. Thanks again.

a pair of roof racks via busfreight will cost about $20 plus $8 to pick up from sellers address and deliver to your nearest bus terminal ,or another $8 to your door.
