Myspace is basically forums, a lot of forums out there have no educational benefit and are just to chat, plus it's using the internet, so really, what's the difference? Most people just don't want to jump on the bandwagon to be different or to rag on something.

I use all those thing you stated, but still find myspace the easiest (bar phone) out of all of them to keep in contact (or have people you haven't seen in a long time or forgot about get into contact with you).

PS. I started using it years ago for our band and i'd get people asking me personal stuff so I made my own for ease of it all.

I don't spend much time on there. Maybe 5mins a day. Its just to give me abreak now and then from work. Find it interesting to see what other people are up to.
