Slow Food / Fast Food ???

not sure about how healthy it is, but a mate of mine has only eaten hungry jacks for evening meal for the last 15 yrs. he's my age but looks at least 10 yrs younger. thinks it may be all the preservatives keeping him preserved!! not worried about it killing him, the pack of cigs a day will take care of that.

Every now and then fast food is just way too convenient, so it ends up in my tummy. Dave Hughes likened KFC to porn and said it feels good when you are doing it, but afterwards you just feel dirty.

I'll take that further - I've heard someone say KFC is like sex. Because afterwards you're left with a bone and a greasy box. :

Daughter No1 worked at a Private fast food outlet in our town (PJ's Fast food , Young) and the best thing that happened there was KFC opened up across the street , PJ's went a bit slow for a few weeks then business was better than ever . KFC mostly empty = PJ's employed extra staff .

McDonalds opened up a year or so ago , same thing happened . Even though there's no drivethrough , PJ's is alway's busy . better food and variety is worth the wait.
