Default I thought i served JC in drive-thru today!!! lol

so i was working drive-thru at maccas today, and i saw a black AU wagon, with XR front, and rear roof wing thing pull up to the speaker box.

couldnt see the rims, but there was a sticker on the rear quarter window, where the aufalcon.com stickers would go.

im like hahah this is not JC, and the guy sounded real blokey. had a southern cross sticker on the back window with some other stuff lol

anyway, drove around and i took the money. just had ticky 17's, and no t3 skirts, or exhaust, but it did have xr6 badges lol

JC has a clone.

Nah - that was me! I didn't know that was you, though. I thought the way you were looking at me you were trying to pick me up.

OK, so it wasn't me, ROFL. The wagon is not as unique as I thought (well, perhaps apart from VIN and engine numbers).

There's a few of them JC, 2 others that I know of. One of them even came from the factory with an XR front end (there's a story there)...

Yep, I had a AU1 Futura that I put a XR series 2 front on and 17" XR series 2 wheels etc. It was winter white and I traded it on my BA ute at denmac Indooroopilly 3 years ago...Haven't seen it since. Metro Ford in Brissie did 12 wagons with XR fronts and wheels in various colours at the end of series 1 model just to get them out the door but they used series 1 front etc. and they used vinyl "XRS" stickers on them. I used some XR8 badges and trimmed the "8" to look like a "S"...looked more like a factory badge than stickers and I also used Tickford badges in the correct spots...looked good! Cheers Linz.

I know there's some out there, but not black, and not with the big roof spoiler.

Would look nice. You cant get a Fairmont wagon in BA BF's.

I have seen quite a few here in Sydney. There is a white AU wagon with a silver XR front in Street Fords. Looks average. JCs is the best AU XR wagon I have seen.

Really ?

It had a BA/BF interior.

But i guess if you go to the trouble of changing a front end, might as well do the inside too.

Looked HAWT none the less, nice set of wheels too
