I wouldn't mind if it just stayed at 80km/h though (during busy times) ... as I think traffic flow will be better .. but dropping it again to 70km/h will just mean more issues with traffic with the concertina flow-on effect due to sharp braking.

I think non-peak times the speed limit can go back to 100km/h and maybe 90km/h for the tunnel.

But 70km/h on a Motorway is ridiculous ... most major roads/highways within the metro are are 80km/h and narrower .. with more bends as well.

True indeed ... and this is a worse option once you get up to Epping as well.

Yer you're right. I changed jobs, so now I am back next to power ford, literally...

No more traffic and tolls, 15 mins to and from work. I see the M2 during daytime hours only for work...

WOOHOO!!!!

Lucky you ... So I will be in Macquarie Park ... so not bad as having to get up to Chatswood .... now that tolls are in place for LCT ... Delhi Rd exit is HELL (I saw it this morning going home in the other direction).

At least later on I can get off at Christie Rd at the Tollgates much earlier than having to deal with Delhi Rd (a pain at the best of times)

True, only to pay for street parking, or fight for the 2000 spots for 10000 staff

Another reason for my departure... Optus...

I have sorted parking ... it is all good ... shiftworker like myself have a pool of spots ... and they have provisioned plenty of them. So I will stick with Optus now ... I was nearly going to leave though.
