Hey Guys
Can someone please confirm for me that the front hub & bearing assembly on the AU's is one unit (meaning the bearing itself can't be changed) or is that wrong? If I'm right, is it as simple as off with the old and on with the new, as I'm assuming it would be? Anything I need to know, any tricks, special tools? Thanks Krissy.

fully sealed unit.
I am still trying to find the write-up on it ... i am sure GK wrote it. Might have been Ronwest though. Can get them cheap $80 each side) from www.ozeparts.com.au as well if you need to find them. Need to get the centre bolt off though ... it's a large size from memory ... so may need to get correct size tooling from a parts store. I'll try and dig around as I know someone else was asking in the Servicing your AU section as well.

I think the 35mm will work. Pretty sure that's what I used. It's a snug fit.

I asked for it to be changed in the "how to" but hasn't happened as yet. 35mm or 36mm will do the job. |
