It may or it may not, I pretty sure it was an option, I jacked the car up and spun rear wheels to find out and I happy to say my ghia is lsd, or you could always do a burnout if jacking the car is too much work lol (just kidding about the burnout), if both wheels spin in the same direction you have a lsd.

The Fairmont Ghia's had LSD. The XR range had it in the VCT XR6 Model, but not in XR6HP that had less options. The XR8 had it standard.

"I could be wrong, but I thought the fairlane/monts with traction control only had single spinners"
I agree as traction control and LSD is not a good combination, the Ghias had TC but my fairmont doesn't and I have an LSD. I know that BA Ghias didn't come with LSD as they had TC, because when we were testing diffs, management cars were considered part of the test fleet so I had my traction control turned off and an LSD fitted to help test a new oil. when TC kicks in it removes the need for a LSD, also cuts down costs from Fords end. In fact just before I left Dana, Ford were kicking round an idea to drop the LSD altogether and just go with TC across the range, savings were big as the TC software is way cheaper than the physical cost of parts to upgrade to an LSD diff.

stocko au you are correct. Ghias with traction had the LSD deleted. A lsd is chap as chips anyway, and easy as pie to install, i paid $600 for mine with 600km on it (almost brand freaken new!!)
