hi guys, does anyone know if an el xr8 sedan lsd center will fit my au 3 xr6 ute axle. i want to change the centers over as i have an el xr8 diff but the diff is to short so i was hoping the center will fit.
any help appreciated |

From what I understand, the LSD itself will fit, but not much else. I'm not positive on this though, sorry.

I think the ratios are different from the 6 to the v8 aswell

If the ratio is what you want ( the EL xr8 has a 3.45) the centre will fit but you have to change the pinion as well. The axles won't fit but your old ones should. This is not a backyard job get it done by a pro unless you like whine they have the equipment and the experience to do it right. good luck you will need to replace the speedo gear to a grey gear too

i was told that my ute has 3.45's to. so it wouldnt make a difference would it? is it easy enough to get the lsd center out of the el diff so i dont have to cart the whole diff to the shop?
