no you can't the tickford cluster has a 240K speedo not a 220 the scale is compressed to accomodate the higher speed so the speedo will be innaccurate unless you get it recallibrated so don't try it without the help of an instrument tech you can swap a S2 tickford fascia to a S1 tickford cluster but the tickfords are the only ones with the 240 K speedo

i don't get what your trying to say, both series 1 and 2 xr clusters read up to 240. The signal from the box is the same on base models and xr's the cluster just decodes and displays it in a different scale

If changing the fascia from s1/s2-3 and vice versa (the fascia not the cluster) I read a thread a while back (dont know first hand) that a couple of the warning lights/symbols appear in slightly different places and dont line up, not sure if that is for the base models only or the xr's or fg's or if it was just for some dicky eBay overlays, just a point worth considering if anyone knows.
If trying to put a tickford facia over a standard cluster - just keep in mind that the tickford ones have tacho + oil pressure guage so wont fit over the standard cluster as thier completeley different.
