Hey guys. Had a mate who was dobbed in for an EPA test. Took his car to get the test done a couple of days ago. Whilst holding the car at the index test RPM it registered 89db which is fine (has to be under 90db). But when the tester backed the car off to idle it registered 94db. He now has 28 days to get it compliant.
Does this procedure sound right? I thought you take the db at the index RPM?
