Default Got my tune!!!

Hey guys. Got my car fitted with a Haltech Interceptor yesterday. Currently only mods are Pacemaker Comp Headers with Ceramic Coating and Lukey MIld steel Mandrel Bent Cat Back with Metalcatz Ceramic Cat, Lowered Springs and Tickford 17" rims. Engine was rebuilt 20,000kms ago and I decided it was time to upgrade ECU. Spoke with Spiro at Autotech, and he convinced me to go with the Haltech Interceptor. He excepted about 10-15rwkw increase. I'm pleased to inform you that I went from 118rwkw up to a mighty 140.9rwkw....I'm calling that 141rwkw....and I'm excited. THanks to Spiro and his team at Autotech for all their hard work. Next on the list....CAI and Short Shifter.

Mike

AU3 XR6. 2002 July Build....one of the last AU's built I'd say. It's the HP motor not the VCT, so I was pretty happy with the results. ALl up it cost me $1000. I got the Haltech from a mate that works for them but through Autotech, and the tune done all by Spiro at Autotech. From what I understand the tune is charged at about $500ish...so I got the Interceptor for $500. The interceptor retails for $1100 on it's own, but this was also a second hand one. As far as I'm concerned, I don't really care...as long as it works.

you must be happy with that figure, was the haltech a plug in or was it a cut and solder wire job?

I'm very happy....was a little surprised at first by the low RWKW figure stock, but from what I understand now that 118rwkw is at the top end of the stock figures for the AU XR6 and particularly the HP motor. Unfortunately it is a cust and solder and splice job, but I plan to keep it in there for a while anyway...so it's not a major problem....now I just gotta take it out to Wakefield and give it a good run to see how she goes...

Nope. Blueprint BLue. Yeah mate, totally different...of course last night on the way home it was wet so I'd either spin on the spot or slide sideways every time I put my foot down....now that it was dry today, had a go, and WOW... I'm pumped to get her to the track
