Default AU mirror question

Hey guys, does anyone know if the coloured part on the back of side mirrors can come off to be replaced, because i have snapped my mirror the the hinge part so my coloured bit is still ok. So insed of painting a new mirror, can u just replace the coloured part?

Yes I did the same thing. My mirror was buggered but the coloured case was fine, apart from a small scratch. So you can just buy the mirror with the standard black casing and pop it off and pop on your coloured one.
