Default traction control

i have just bought a 2002 farilane ghia v8 left the dealership and started playing with things as you do and noticed the traction control button isnt working is it something simple like cleaning up the connectors at the back of the switch and can i pull that surround off to get to the switch or did ford make some weird tool you need.

lovely car to drive bit boaty for me compared to my 2001 s pac dealer fitted c2r kit and they called it a havoc.

which handles like a vl with its fe2 suspension so im going to have to sell my 2001 au now as i didnt want to put a towbar on it but the fairlane should tow my xb coupe without a drama.

Is your Fairlane LPG perhaps?

I think LPG AUs have T/C disabled for technical reasons.

When you say it "stayed on" do you mean that the little traction control symbol was illuminated on the dash?

Does it still intervene if you try to trigger it?

Hey, don't forget to add your car to aufalcon.com if you'd like to. Can always do with more long wheelbase drivers.
