coolola car club had a motorkarna on today and they holtered proceedings at 11 for a minutes rememberence,

I too, bought my poppy from the local shopping centre. I was at the Sandown historics yesterday proudly wearing it, but didn't see too many others wearing theirs.

However, the entire day stopped at 11am... all recovery and emergency vehicles drove to the start/finish line, and everyone in pit lane lined up in front of 4 or 5 army vehicle for the moment's silence.

That, bowsaw, is a bit of what it is about, not sitting in front of the computer sprouting because we haven't replied to your post.

Well I was working at safeway at that time, we had a minute silence, where we stopped all work and reflected, it was nice, but rather scary at the same time watching everybody stop and stand still, then resume thier day, it was like you were in one of those freeze frame movies eg in xmen 2, scene were Professor Xavier stops everybody and lets pyro, rogue and iceman escape the cafe.
