Well Orion is modelled of the mondeo so you never know. But the CGI pic I saw of the XR8 really stood out.

But would you guys actually buy this car? Be honest in your heart, knowing it's a big FWD car, could you really move from a V8 RWD Falcon to some form of hi-po FWD Mondeo?

Mate, everyone is always saying "if Ford released "that" i would buy one!"
("that" being most photo chops people do)
But Ford and other car manufacturers know better and thats why the styling on the cars that are massed produced are pretty reserved and looking at a base model is like chewing on cotton balls, quite boring.

The fact that this sucker and all variants are all FWD, this instantly removes this car from the list of 'future cars for Sfr Rob', no matter what goodies it has.

And this is what I'm getting at. I don't think there's one red blooded Falcon fan here who would buy a big FWD sedan.

Only if it came in AWD. My focus torque steers under boost like a pig and it likes to wander all over the road. I love the power delivery, but I drive with the traction control on, too scared to take it off.

That looks great! I'm not much of a fan of the new Mondeo but this chop is something else.
