Angry Surging Problems

my ute has surging problems when at idle, but this can also be felt when cruising.
Ive recently put in new 02 sensors
new airflow sensor
new leads and plugs
new ECU
new injectors
and ive now come to the end of the line trying to work out whats causing the problem.
it also feels a little boggy on take off also.
Its runs dual fuel (impco system).

does anyone have any ideas they can throw at me!!!

Same here. Unless it's running injected LPG the old "BBQ-burner" system doesn't seem to do any favours for the ISC. Reminds me I probably need to clean mine again. I noticed last night it was hunting at idle a bit ..

I'd say either this or a clogged fuel filter.

How long since you have changed the fuel filter?

I would be looking at ignition.Pull out the plugs in order and note each one.If one is blacker than the rest then its probably not firing.Could be as simple as a lead.Have a look ,take a photo and post it up if you want some better feedback.

I just had a thought, how many k's has it done? If it is anymore than 80k the coil packs may need to be replaced as that is all they are good for before they start to break down.

fuel filter was replaced about 1000k ago.
utes done about 120000 but who knows if these are original,
it seems to be running ok on gas at moment but just lacks alot of power.
running it on fuel is like......its ordinary. rough, flat spotting on take off, splutters like its about to run out of petrol yet its full, lack of power.

Sounds like it's running too rich to me. No idea how to fix it though, especially since you have replaced everything I would have suggested. Could still be coil packs - lots of fuel in and not enough spark = rich (late) burn, but I would expect this to backfire on LPG. Have you tested fuel pressure? Could be a bung fuel regulator or dodgy fuel pump (which would more than likely result in lean running not rich, but also would have no effect on LPG).

I would have thought that the popping and spluttering is normal on deceleration. Mine does it anyway.
