My Dad comes on here sometimes. He is a 68 year old engineer who still works on his Fords and drives them hard! Some of you may have met him at Heathcote last year. He didnt race because he broke his ribs a couple of days earlier.

Incidentally, he is exceptionally good with computers, the Internet, mobile phones and texting, Navmans, and any other gadget. He teaches younger people how to use all the new stuff, at work and runs training sessions on how to use the IT gear at work.

Bob65 is 67, born 05/11/40. He is still trying to outdo me with his ute ..... although as I told him the other night the ol' XH ute just wont cut it anymore now I have the Sprint :P

He has been browsing here a fair bit in the past few days as they are home for Chrissy. He mostly reads and rarely posts, although he still knows how to do it all

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care (too much)

Can still benchpress more than my body weight, deadlift twice my bodyweight and do 30 chin ups with 20kg strapped around my waist.

How many of the "young fella's" on here can do the same?

Despite the fact that "50 is the new 30" and all that, my body is saying 24 is the new dead.

: I hate being sick. Im usually quite healthy, however at the Aged Care Facility that I work at, there has been a major outbreak of Nora Virus, and as a result secondary infections of hMPV, hRSV and or HRV (otherwise known as Human Metapneumovirus, Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus and or Human Rhino Virus, respectively, for those without the medical background) have been found in some immunocompromised residents. Some have been taken to hospital, and some have been quarantined, however I still have to work around many of them. So despite having a strong immune system, in the conditions I work in, I would have stood a better chance, had the viruses been injected into me directly.

So at the moment, I feel quite old and worn, despite my chronological age.

However once I've recovered, im hoping my body will remember that 24 infact is the new 24.
