Well my tough old AU has finally succumbed to the old yellow, hazy headlight trick.
JC mentioned in a previous thread i hijacked (hi JC!) that aerogard and a shedload of polishing gets these suckers back to nice... Does anyone have any further suggestions or tricks to what they've done to make their AU headdies look like new again? Fleet manager at work (ex metro ford fella) said grade 2 cutting compound with some turtle polish in a tin to follow up should work. Confirm/deny? Thanks In advance fellas.

Scratch X is another one from the E Series yellow headlights (no different)
one i would try is Paint Doctor. the tops of my guard indicators on the BA had turned white, the smallest of a rub with paint doctor and they were clear again. |

tooth paste also works (applied like a polish)
all your after is taking the top"layer" of plastic off to reveal a nice shiney underneath layer good luck mate!

W00t ... the best way. I have seem home polishing jobs turn bad if not done correctly. And they return to yellow not long after if not doing it correctly as well.

Yeah I fixed this on an EL, all I did was sanded them back with 200, 400, 800, 1200 and 2000 grit wet and dry (I think that's right) then polished them up with some Mothers plastic polish and they looked as good as new (or near enough anyway).
