Hi Guys,

apart from the roof liner saggin the ute has been great but just today I started hearing a god awful squeak from the front passenger wheel.

happens on steering, bumps etc..

Luckliy the car is under warranty but if it's something major but any clues as to what this might be??

Cheers

Swaybar Link D Bushes.

$20-30 and 20 minutes to fix.

Here's how to test if it's them or not.

Jack up the front left, get some lube and using the nozzle spray liberally into all the parts of the bush that you can. If the noise goes, then it's time to replace them.

Of course, you could just grease them up (both sides) but I'd just get new items as they are so cheap to do.

All the best with it.

Cool, I was worried that I might be off the road for a little while..but as it is this should be covered under my used car warranty.

Bit of a PIA as they are in Penrith and I'll have to work around their schedule and probably lose at least 1/2 day. if It's an hour or two to replace then I'd rather do that - those parts from Ford or OEM?

Here's where I got mine from, but surely they're available up your way.

Bushes

"SuperPro" bushes from Ringwood Auto parts
8 Launders Avenue Wonga Park 3115
03 9722 2842
Bill is the owner and it a really good bloke to deal with and is very, very helpful. The D bushes should be around $20 a pair (or less). They'd get to you for less than $30 I'd say.

I have seen IIRC the same brand in SuperCheap also. Give Bill a ring though and tell him what car you've got etc, etc and he'll give you correct part number and all.
