as the thread title asks, how do i get out the red lens on the high mount stop light on my car?
do i need to remove the parcel shelf carpet? how do i do that? is it easy or a pain in the ***? and has anyone done it? lol thanks. i wanna get it out to clean it and have a look etc. see if i can modify it for LED's maybe. who knows.

Good question ... I am pretty sure you can access the globe compartment from under the parcel shelf itself. Is it possible to get the lens from under there as well????
Sounds like it may be a percel shelf out job though ... and as I don't have a sedan to compare I am no help in that department ... sorry.

You have to remove the parcell tray, just pop out the speaker grilles and I think there is a couple of christmas tree plugs also holding it in place. Just have a look it is fairly straight forward from memory.

my old AU i can remove from underneath, others i had to push the assembly towards back of vehicle (towards rear screen) to unhook the little feet and then it lifts upwards.
