Hi
I seem to have a failed front passenger power window switch - any suggestions on where to get reasonably priced replacements and is it an easy plug out/in job? |

They are sometimes listed on Ebay, might be worth a look for you.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AU-POWER-WIND...QQcmdZViewItem I know that's not from a Ghia so it might be a bit different, but hopefully will give you an idea on price. As far as replacing the switch itself goes, it's quite straightforward and you shouldn't have any troubles. Good luck with it. |

You can take the switch out and scratch up the contacts a little. They can get clogged up with grime and carbon and such.

We set off for an Easter camping trip up north and we hadn't even got on the freeway when we discovered one of the windows wouldn't go up. I had to pull over on the side of the road and take it apart, clean the contacts and put it back together so we could put it up. I've done them all a few times over the 3.3 years I've had the car.
