MY CAR IN THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER ABOUT 15 MINS OR SO REAR BRAKES HEAT UP AREMAKEING SUM SOUNDS LIKE GRABING DONT NO COULD IT BE DISCS OR PADS ONLY SIX MONTHS AGO BRAND NEW CROSS DRILLED DBA AND PADS ALL ROUND COULD THE DISCS NEED A GRIND ALREADY :

No need to SHOUT!!!
It will be the handbrake shoes rubbing on the drums on the rear discs. You can get it fixed, but it will be back within about 6 to 9 weeks. Afflicts falcons, commodores, ma=gnas and camrys, plus others probably - it's just a result of the handbrake design.

JC is most likely right. He usually is! It was a crummy design and why Ford and a stack of others didn't opt for the handbrake working the disc I'll never know. Actually I probably do know, COST!
Try adjusting the handbrake a little. Slide the driver's seat all the way back, take off the rubber boot from the handbrake lever, and loosen the 10mm nut 3-4 turns. If that doesn't work, go a few more turns, but keep in mind that you don't want to lose your handbrake function. All the best with it. GK
