Spell Checker

I don't know if this has been asked for before, but is there any possible way to incorporate a spell checker into the forums?

If I write up a fairly big post, I normally do it in word first and copy it into a thread. However if there was a spell checker on the forums....

Just a thought.

Dunno if the forum can do it but for yourself you can download a spell checker that can check your spelling in forums emails etc from http://www.iespell.com/ it gets added to your toolbar like in word etc

Not that I'm aware of but there should be something similar around for firefox or a way of making it work

Na it doesn't ive looked into that, maybe there is an extension for firefox though.

What does it do, just add an icon into the toolbar that allows spellcheck of any text written on the page?

If you mean the Firefox extension you write in the box like the quick reply one I'm using right now, then what I do it ctrl+a and right click and go to the check spelling option now in the pull down menu and the spell checker window opens which looks really similar to the one in Thunderbird (if you've used that).

Yes rodderz, it add an icon to your IE toolbar. When you type something on the screen ie, this reply, you hit the tool button and it spell checks it.

Now if we could only get an sms translator for those that type threads with all the vowels missing!

It might save them time typing but the reader spends half an hour trying to decipher it.

Type your post's up in Word do the spell check then cut & paste it.

Which is what I've been doing. Now thanks to the program MRJUCY has provided the link for there is no need to.

I use ieSpell v2.1.1 (build 325) for Internet Explorer. Go to the site MRJUCY posted then to the download section.

After using it for the past two days, it's a lot quicker than cutting and pasting from word.
