Default Instant Car Buyers

Hi Guys, need some advice
I have got my car for sale on carsales and received a call from a lady working for Instant Car Buyers on the cumberland hwy.
They are offereing to buy my car if i drive it to them

Has anyone heard of them before and is this something i should be weary of?

The answers were that it may be an auction house, consignment place, or something similar, and all answers say thatthey will offer you a stupidly low price.

Best avoided.

Waste of time. As above^^^^^ they'll only offer trade value hoping you're desperate to sell. And its good for them as they dont need to spend time to go and see it, since you use your time and petrol to go there.

Thanks, received another call from them. The price they offered was ridiculous

It was less than the trade in price i could of got for the car

Unless you are prepared to sell under the redbook/market value (being a trade in price), don't bother.

Plenty of these type businesses out there. Once they called me, and I suggested they come to my place to value, but they did not want a bar of it.
