First off, holden haters (the kn*bhead kind) don't bother reading on.
For those who aren't complete idiots, keep reading. Went down to BTA on saturday just to say G'day to the boys. Long story short, I got the honour of being the first in Australia to turn the key and drive (outof the workshop) a VE GTS LS3 powered, twin turbo... the sound of this thing was just balistic.. anyway, it brought a smile to my face on a saturday morning! Just thought i'd share some of the wonderful work being done by a valuable sponsor

The thing would fly. Nothing wrong with a donk like this
I drove a TT Monaro a few years back that had a quick 400rwkw tune thrown in, much fun on the roads! |

I thought these engines had the dry sump set-up, if so they would be able to tap into that and feed the turbos through pressure so the oil would naturally flow back. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

lol Bourney nice to meet ya at the workshop, imust admit the thing sounds like a monster you should here it now with the exhaust
its a wet sump not a dry sump set up power figures would be any where between 400-500 rwkw there is a electric pump that pumps the oil return lines the twin turbos are both garrett M24 |

we have a 17yr old old at work who's just upgraded from his V6 VS to a Vortech supercharged 6.0 VE. CAPA bought it new, fitted the kit, then sold it to my workmate.
all engineered etc. Paid for the majority of it himself too, not bad for a 17yr old as for my weekend? went to the gym sat morning, started stripping down my Galaxie, few other random things, and lots and lots of 'adult activities' that was a lot more fun than driving someone else's commodore could ever be ;) |
