Good on ya mate, what a great cause. There still are people that care about helping others.

Just thought i'd post am email i got from the bloke that won this! seems like he enjoyed himself!

"My first experience of a V8 Supercar meeting in Australia was simply awesome. I enjoyed the entire weekend from Saturday to Monday, the people were friendly, the racing was great, the beer was cold. The highlight was of course, the laps with FPR. Sadly Frosty had already done a few rides at previous meetings so the duty was handed over to Steven Richards. I joked that I had come all the way over from New Zealand to take a ride with an Aussie only to get a Kiwi! But it was awesome. Richo belted it the minute the marshalls gave him the go. He was already flying by the time he left the Pit Exit Lane and hit the track proper. At the end of the first straight I was very thankful for the full racing harness. V8 Supercars brake like they dropped an anchor onto the road. I then got the shove in the back when Richo hit the back straight and floored it. We were told to watch the driver and I watched Steven monitor the shift lights & change gear right when he hit red. Then it was onto the brakes again, ride a couple of kerbs before another short dash approaching the main straight.

On the second lap I looked over to Steven as we barrelled down the main straight. He was giving me the thumbs up and it took me a moment to realise that he was driving at well over 200kph with just one hand and wasn't even looking at the track ahead.

I would like to thank you and FPR for a truly memorable experience and the chance to ride in a real V8 Supercar and with a driver I admire. I am now looking forward to my first trip to Bathurst later this year and another chance to see the cars doing what they do best.

Kerry"
