Default Ts50 badge question

is there 2 types of t-series bonnet badges ? i always thought there was a grey one with a red "T"

i can only find an all silver badge with the "t" moulded into the actual metal

No, there is only one bonnet badge for the T-Series and it's all chrome with the T moulded into it. It only came on the T1's and T2's and also the NL Fairlane by Tickford.

For whatever reason, Ford (Tickford) just didn't use it on the T3's. Most likey reason to stop using it was because it didn't go with the new aggressive T3 bodykit.

Ford should still have it. I bought my replacement one from city ford about 4months ago. They cost a small fortune thought, around $100 ea.

They're still available. NRMA spat it when they had to replace mine after a run in with a roo. $110. They asked me if I really wanted it replaced. "Hell yeah I want it replaced you penny pinching pr!ck$."
