Default brakes plus

I just want to give a plug to Brakes plus at Nudawading Melbourne, I took my Musi in to get the brakes checked for leaks ,adjustment before going for a roadworthy , as I put it on the hoist the starter jammed on. Andrew got onto an Electrian , removed it ,one of the lads ran it round to get it checked.Meantime they checked everything ,showed me what was wrong, fixed it .Anyway took a couple of days to sort out the other mess with Andrew and his crew coordinating every thing with the electricial (Power Electrical ) nothing was to much trouble, even taking wheels off so it couldnt be flogged
I actually took the car to them because of the way he went out of his way to help during the build ,helping with parts -mainly minor bits and pieces-nothing was a problem even just asking questions
Bloody good service,Thanks Lads

Awesome to hear and thumbs up for commenting on good service.

I've always wondered about their "lifetime" guarantee on pads. I mean it's friction material FFS.

It sounds bloody cheap if you plan on keeping your car for a while.

It is good to hear that you had a good experience there and sounds like someone you could go back to.

Word of warning though, Brakes Plus are a franchise so therefore not all their stores are equal. The Brakes Plus at underwood in QLD told me that their pads were suitable for an application that they were not and when it did $2000 worth of damage to my GT they completely changed their story and denied they sold them to me for that application.

I am not saying that all Brakes Plus stores are shonky but the underwood store is shonky based on my experience and I would not go there again in a pink fit.

Thats great feedback, Andrew is a good friend of mine and is also a bit of a ford nut as well, he owns a very nice stroked el ghia and really works hard in his small business. Good to here, he is doing things well.
