that looks like so much fun! when i get my lsd and some more done to my car, i am going to have to try that. I love the note of the SS, it's really hard to get a note as good as that out of a late model Ford for some reason!

anyway, i have watched all your others a while back, your getting pretty good behind the wheel!

Thanks mate! I plan on getting a lot better too. I'll probably do the same course in about 8 months time or do the Ian Luff Stage 3 course for the 2nd time. Im doing 2 track days in the next 2 weeks, in the SS, so that should be fun.

Jeez wish I had the time to go do that and make a vid of it. Your tyres must hate you :

They taught us a lot of equations in school but left out an important one :

Boost+water=fun

My left rear tyre is looking a bit sick :
The other side of the skidpan was bone dry (as you could see) and had a heap of grip, so it killed my tyres :

If I get a tow car I’d be keen to take it on a skidpan (DECA) to see how the DSC acts, how intrusive it is, what the car is like with it switched off, etc. I figure that a wet skidpan is safer on the car than a track day where I can kill tyres, brakes, etc.

How did the XR6’s DSC behave?
