Default Starting car after 12 months?

Hi to all. due to a lot of drama's, my AU11 v8 fairlane has not been started in over a year. what should i do/check before firing her up? motor was in excellent condition, well serviced and maintained.


p.s car is on lpg/petrol

Just the usuall stuff, check the oil, water .and maybe some fresh fuel , you may even like to take the coil leads off and crank it over a few times just to get some oil presure up , then when your fire it up just let it idle quietly for a while to warm up checking for leaks and things as it does.. We fired up my Cortina after nearly 3 years sitting under a tree and then drove it 50ks home with no real problems ...
