Anyway ford run the tranny cooler lines thru the cooler and then radiator for a reason. I can introduce you to many transmission experts who'll agree with me on it, i could also probably find you many that won't.

All i'll say is that there's trans reconditioners and then there's trans reconditioners who's gearboxes don't blow up after a year or 2.
I am going to ring the oil manufacturers tommorow to confirm...

all i can say is from the little I know about BTR's, 5.0whiteaughia is on the money, especially with:

When I worked for the taxis, we had about 3 different people rebuild our automatics over the years. We used to outsource all our auto rebuilds to a local guy who is now since retired, and he would rebuild them and they'd go for at least 350,000 hard kays. Then we decided to save some money, got the in-house mechanic to do them. Well i don't think one box lasted more than about 60,000. Anyone with half a clue can rebuild an automatic, it takes someone who truly knows what they are doing to rebuild it right.
Also, change your sig to stav spends the cash.

I know that feeling but mine only cost me $300odd for a decent rebuild gave up on the T5s and wacked a box in that the big boys play with.
