G'day all,
I know since moving to Sydney and joining the Club I have made it to bugger all but now things have settled down I intend to become a lot more regular at Club events. I also have an added incentive to get out and about because I picked up a new car yesterday. A change from the Typhoon but the value for money couldn't get me to go past the Super Pursuit. Ken    The old and the new

Ok here's the answers,
The Typhoon was a BA so there is a bit of difference between it and the FG, not to mention the two more cylinders and one less turbo. I will say it does have some pickup though. It wouldn't be as quick as the Phoon up top (it was modified) but off the mark it would be the ute I reckon. Yep I just worked out my Schedule this week and I will be at the AFD with bells on. Gotta show of the new car after all. Yes Paul I am sure Ben will be lamenting the loss of a 6 from the brotherhood but you can't please all of the people all of the time, as you being El Presidente`would be well aware of. Ken, congrats on the purchase, you must be stoked.
You got two out of the three key criteria! Correct door count Correct suspension set up (cos IRS is for girls)  Enjoy it and hope to catch up soon. yes it stings to lose another 6, just means one less 6 up the front on a run...  : Cheers PS - Those R8's are tempting.....

brilliant,
I love both cars, i am wanting to look at getting a Typhoon or a GT in the future, i am jelous...........But i still love my Au Xr6 Congratulations on the new purchase, we should all be proud of our rides

But we all know the best car in the world is an Au Xr6 VCT in silver LOL (i happen to own one) Just kidding. Look forward to meeting you guys tomorrow night at the meeting. Is there somewhere i need to go when i get to the club??
