Howdy, my AU has a small dent in the passenger side chassis rail, basically mid way down the length of the car - we're talking maybe 3-4cm maximum in diameter. Like a rock has dented it. Has created a little bulge on one side.
Is this a drama? I'm a little concerned, thinking I might see if I can get it fixed. Thanks. |

One of my rails has a decent ding in it from a rock (thank god the fuel rail protector was there too!) and it hasn't caused any troubles for me.

I hit a piece of asphalt once doing 100k's. It hit the chassis rail and peeled it apart, hit a few spots under the car, and hit the fuel tank and I thought Id wrecked the car by the sound and the violence of it all.
